    I have been using online therapy for several years now to deal with past trauma issues, anxiety etc. My therapist and I communicate by email in between twice monthly phone sessions for one set price.
    I find it invaluable in my healing journey for several of the reasons you listed. Initially, I began researching online therapy due to the fact that I was finding it difficult to leave the house some days due to anxiety but also because I had worked in the mental health field locally for five years previously, know a lot of people and didn’t want to mix personal and professional so online seemed safer in several ways!
    I also don’t have a vehicle so it made choosing a therapist much easier when I didn’t have to consider public transit.
    I find it very helpful and cost effective. I have had both in person and online therapy and I would recommend both equally depending on the client of course!
