Self care is truly the key to a satisfied & well-adjusted personality. It is true-we care for our family & loved ones very conscientiously but this same attribute vanishes when it comes to looking after our own needs.
What do i do for self care? Well exactly this, that i am doing. Not having pursued my career for the first 60 yrs of my life; i took to counseling & learning the computer for on-line counseling. It feels good when people tell me that i have been of help to them.Reading & listening to music also help to relax me.

Excellent tips! I’ve been leading women’s circles for a few years now, based on the book, The Mother’s Guide to Self-Renewal, by http://www.reneetrudeau.com and can attest to the power of self-care and the importance of it to improve relationships. I find I get very resentful when I’m not taking the time for me. My favorite self-care activity is walking around our neighborhood pond each morning after I drop my daughter off at school.
