    This year has been a tough one and there i# pervasive sadness in me and crying days. Sometimes I beat the blues and do a bit of exercise or a couple of classes that I truly enjoy, however there are plenty of days where I just Netflix binge for days or night on end, then feeling guilty for this.

    Some of the suggestions I’d thought of, then discounted . . . ‘Why bother.”
    Some I’d come across simply by luck of timing – laughter in particular.
    The descent into darker and darker places has been so powerful that I’d
    become convinced that I didn’t want to “pull out.”
    Your idea of pre-planning, in writing, my escape(s) sounds like a valid
    route to follow – which I intend to do.
