    During my battles with the overly critical parent part of my personality, it for sure kept on winning to the point of suggesting that parental epithets from my past were like well glued stickies all over my psychology. But. as some hidden truth like secrets and lies emerged I became aware that there was a pathology revealing a somewhat different story. Oops. Bit of hard work including my cold hearted strangulation of the “Should-ing” CP voice over ,and there emerges a different personality. Dither knicker people pleaser now on the back burner and some sass appearing. This hasn’t made people recoil,far from it , its allowed me to engage with quite strong boundaries, aka assertiveness. No thats not psychopathy, I’m controlling myself in accordance with the normal mores of peaceful non hostile human interaction, and thats working out fine unless at any point you should try to nick my Teddy Bear …
