    This post came up on a very emotional day for me for many reasons. It’s always helpful to get reminders that expressing and feeling your feelings is okay. Asking for help in both time, space, and a soldier to cry on is just as okay too. Learned some things about myself yesterday that I’ll be tucking away for the future.

      @ Marina, I’m glad it resonated with you! It’s certainly a reminder I need regularly. Sometimes, we don’t even realize that we’re not letting ourselves feel a certain emotion; that we’re making judgments about the emotion and so on. So pausing and having a reminder definitely helps. And I absolutely agree with you — asking for help is definitely OK and even vital.
