One thought on “Taking Exquisite Care of Ourselves

So, it turns out, one of the most powerful questions one can ask oneself is “Does this bring me joy?” Instead of is this right or wrong, good or bad…the question of joy is non-judgmental. I don’t think we have to get all lavish about ourselves but we can simply ask, “What would bring me joy right now?” And go with whatever the answer…sometimes, it’s a walk, or a nap, or making a meal, or cleaning, or giving a hug, or playing, or crying, or watching a show, or reading a few passages of a book.

This book is the only book that has literally shifted things for me internally and I highly recommend it: http://www.amazon.com/The-Life-Changing-Magic-Tidying-Decluttering/dp/1607747308?tag=apartmentth0a-20
