Today I love high finance deals, especially when they are other peoples deals, though I’m pretty keen on them when they’re my deals too. I love when I buy something for ten or even twenty dollars and then sell it on for fifty cents or even a dollar more. 😉 I love that I am no business man, but I can get by if I have to when I have to buy materials for a job and then recover the cost of them. I love that I always charge no more than the cost of materials and supplies used and then my time when I work for someone. I love when someone asks me if I can fix something for them and I know that I can ’cause I get to say, “Yes! I can do that.” I love that I am happy to go or happy to stay most of the time so I’m not the person to ask if you’re looking for a decision on where to eat or what to do. I love that I will go almost anywhere and I will eat almost anything at least once. I love being that adventurous one who says bring it on when someone suggests something exotic.
Today I love that as I am writing this we are on the way to the cottage for a day or maybe two and then we are going to get ourselves ready for a week of normal we hope. I love that I am looking forward to kayaking today. I love that if I don’t get out in the kayak today I’ll get out there on the bay tomorrow. I love the water and I love being near it and on it and in it. I love that I might go swimming today or tomorrow, because the child in me has always loved going to the beach and going swimming, no matter the temperature. I love that I still want to buy fins and snorkels every time I see them for sale. I love that I own a half dozen or so pairs of flowered bathing trunks (that might be Canadian for swim suit, not sure) and yet I still like to swim in cut off jeans too.
Today I love breakfast at the market, and all the people and the sights and the things we buy regularly. I love that I have finally gotten caught up mostly on all my work, radio show in the can, open mic hosted, media releases posted, ads updated and blog posts all done save one. I love that the last one owed will get done today or tomorrow. I love feeling relaxed about my work load.
Today I love drinking coffee at the cottage where we’ve just arrived, and hitting publish on this post. Yay!
