Today I love those determined predawn clouds that marched resolutely south as the sky grew lighter. I love the way my camera seems to be able to capture what I see in the worst conditions. I love the way I can tweak its settings to find the best way to show what I think I am seeing, even if the pictures I take never really match the beauty of what I am looking at. I love early mornings and their potential to be the start of almost anything. I love that a morning can look like any other morning and yet it could be the start of the day that a friend finds exactly what they’ve been wanting in life. I love mornings that aspire to being great. I love mornings that are as determined as southward marching clouds.
Today I love plans to cook and shop and do laundry because those things are all things that are done easily enough and when they are done it always makes the day seem successful. I love that I am planning to do several projects soon and that those too will feel like successes. I love being able to work with my hands as well as with my words, so when I get to start and finish a project, that makes me happy. I love that I actually get to work at doing many of the things I love and I love that I get to do some of the things I love for the people I appreciate and admire. I love the opportunities to work when they come along and I love the opportunities for adventure when they present themselves also. I love being busy. I love being alive. I love life. I love that life is always full of potential for excitement, as it should be.
Today I love people who struggle to find their way. Like me, they are all on the road of life, and all of us are seeking our own way. I love that the destination is never really what life is about, that the journey is the reward. Keep on keeping on, we’ve miles to go together yet. I love dark chocolate. I love sweet relish. I love Friday adventures in music. I love opportunities to make new friends. I love juggling too many things to do in too little time. because I love being busy. I love being on a job because I can just leave all my stress behind until I am done work.
Today I love coffee under the determinedly marching clouds. Southward ho!
