Today I Love The Sky

This tortoise shell sky ...
This tortoise shell sky …

Today I love that every day when I get up, the first thing I do is check the sky. It’s never the same twice, and even when it’s solid grey, it’s always its very own special shade of grey. Today I love the tortoise shell sky that I found waiting for me this morning.

Today I love that it is Friday and that means the end of the work week and the start of the weekend. I love that this week has been very kind to me and I will make the most of today as a show of respect for it. I love that I expect the same relationship with the weekend, I’ll make the most of it if it will give me the time to.

Today I love my tablet and the way it supports so many things that I do. I love that I can satisfy my curiosity about things with it, rely on it to display my lyrics when I’m on stage, use it for social media access, and at any time, I can point it in any direction and it will show me what the night sky would look like … with labels. How cool is that? To me, that is waaaay cool.

Today I love chocolate milk ….. but not as much as I love coffee. Coffee just has a way of going with so many things, foods and activities, that just aren’t the same with chocolate milk. I know I shouldn’t play favorites, but …. coffee, coffee, coffee. And I’m having one right now! Ha.

Today I Love The Sky

Kelly Babcock

I was born in the city of Toronto in 1959, but moved when I was in my fourth year of life. I was raised and educated in a rural setting, growing up in a manner I like to refer to as free range. I live in an area where my family history stretches back 6 or more generations. I was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 50 and have been both struggling with the new reality and using my discoveries to make my life better. I write two blogs here at Psych Central, one about having ADHD and one that is a daily positive affirmation that acts as an example of finding the good in as much of my life as I possibly can.
