I am appalled that there are doctors out there who actually administer these drugs to babies and even more so the parents who allow it. My mother had 8 children and as adults we have our share of mental issues within our family but it disturbs me to even think of how much worse things may have been had doctors pumped us full of drugs at such an early age. Of course I’ll never know that for sure but my goodness, give these children a fighting chance. I will be researching much more on this subject. I just have to know if in fact I’m missing something because at this point I can’t imagine why it’s taking place. It just infuriates me that with as little that is known of the human mind that anyone would allow it. Using children as guinea pigs should not be tolerated. Ever.

There is only one reason doctors are prescribing these meds to babies, MONEY! In my opinion this is the most blatant example of the corruption in the pharmaceutical industry and children are paying the biggest price.

This should be at the top of the list for presidential discussion.

I remember when I first started on each of my psych meds spending some time reading about other people’s experiences and side effects. On one particular forum, I was horrified by the high doses people seemed to be taking and so looked at the comments more closely, only to realise that the posters weren’t talking about taking the drugs themselves, but about their experiences giving them to their children!!! Most of whom were under five years old! The answer to the question “Should Docs Give Psychiatric Meds To Babies?” ABSOLUTELY NOT.
