    Asking about diet at the intake interview and suggesting some changes is also a great foot in the door to making “just one little change, today after you leave here.” This is especially true for depressed individuals who refuse medication… “giving your body the ingredients to make its own serotonin” can help get the ball rolling, because we all know the inertia of a non-rolling ball is the key impediment to a successful outcome.

      It would be helpful to know what foods to add to build serotonin for those who are not in the know.

    It’s hard when you’re depressed to eat right…but clearly, it makes a difference.

    Adding in B-vitamins goes a long way to begin the right nutrients in any situation involving moods and depressions.
