    Excellent post! I love your site. It’s not easy to practice mindfulness, but its something I practice every day.

      And you’re right, sometimes it’s not easy to practice mindfulness (maybe partly because we’re in a society that defaults to a bit of ‘mindlessness’?)

    I always felt I lived in the moment, because….the next second is not promised to us……from when I joined the army at age 18 until now.

    At age 64 I won a scholarship because of what I have endured and overcome and am in school.

    I put my “soul” in my book, Sanctuary of the Soul (poems of anguish, healing, hope, comfot and celebration.
