    I don’t know if this was controlled for in the studies — maybe I missed it — but is it possible that some of the people who left home early were leaving because they had a bad relationship with their parents to begin with and didn’t like living there? That could help to explain why the early group would have less ongoing contact with their parents, after.

    Some children who stay with their parents the longest are not going to have the closest relationships in the future. THIS IS A TRUE STATEMENT.
