    I don’t think it’s as much about the question if you are single or not now, but if you’d manage to be single and live your life on your own and don’t settle for just anything or if you NEED another person, no matter who it is.
    Some people were single for a long time, found someone they really did click with and are now in a relationship. But they wouldn’t be pressured to find someone, they weren’t desperate because they were judged. It just happened.

    on the other hand there are current single people who are desperate because they think it’s a failure to be single for a year or who pressure others (and themselves) to find someone.

    So I think that’s the difference, not so much your current single status but how much you are affected and influenced by singlism and matrimania.
