2 thoughts on “Marriage Equality: Was It Too Small a Dream?

I love this article! How often I have thought about this, and how annoyed I was when “marriage” became THE “gay rights” issue back in the day. Something I have noticed since then is the benefit of having been married at least ten years in terms of Social Security for women. So Lesbian women (who are rapidly facing the challenge of existence at all) are more than likely to be poorer than heterosexual women, at least women who were married for at least ten years. What’s right about that? Oh, I am so glad someone is speaking words I have been longing to hear!
