    I get this. I love my solitude. Hard to explain to people who need to be surrounded others all the time.

    The more people realise that solitude can be empowering to those of a specific mindset, that marriage / children were never remotely duties (and there’s no evidence for it either), and that life is basically carte blanche, the better everyone will be.

    Apart from the insufferably small-minded who can’t keep their noses out of other peoples’ business, but I’m sure most of the fiercely-avowed singles take some pleasure in whacking those out of joint and highlighting them for the misguided sorts they are.
