One thought on “Have You Been Shamed for Being Single?

Well said. I’m what you would call a “quasi” single woman as my partner doesn’t come anywhere with me. And the amount of hassling I get over this is unbelievable (and I stop being invited to couples/family things due to this). So I can only imagine how hard it is for someone who is single. I’ve also been strongly discouraged from leaving my relationship by couples/families due to their discomfort over having a single woman in their lives. My concerns were considered selfish, materialistic and invalid. t is wrong. And we wonder about the high levels of marriage breakup and domestic violence!!! People need to feel accepted regardless of their status. And have any relationship concerns validated as it’s not about having your friend with someone because it makes you feel better but about is that friend truly in a good relationship!!!
