I don’t know of any shows that show married couples living apart.

There was one show that I’ve been meaning to mention: “Agatha Christie’s Poirot” The British mystery features Christie’s famous detective Hercule Poirot, who is single, and his friend Captain Hastings, who is also single. The two spent a lot of time together, both for business and social purposes. Neither seems lonely or expresses a desire for a mate. Poirot’s secretary Miss Lemon also seems to be single. The other main character, Chief Inspector Japp, is married but I don’t think we every see his wife.

“Downton Abby” of PBS fame, the fictional story tell’s us the truth about life in a pre and post WW1 English country house. People just swept their disfunction under the rug back then but I am sure that stuff went on just as today. We choose to not be shamed or discreat.
