    Regarding your statement: “Some people drink a little bit more than normal…A couple aspirin will cure most hangovers”. About a hangover – let’s call it what it is… an overdose of a mood altering substance, never okay.

    This post is a refreshing dose of sexual realpolitik. There are sexual implications to every season — every human interaction, really — and the holiday season is no exception.

    That said, it does sound like you are countenancing something in this column which you come out strongly against in others. That is, dishonesty by omission in the case of an extra-marital affairs. You say the best you can hope for is that your spouse doesn’t find out. While this is another example of realpolitik, in that the vast majority of people would agree with you, it does seem to run counter to your normal advice of honesty.
