I so appreciate you sharing this because I am in a similar situation right now (although mine is not breasts but pelvic) and to be equally honest, it sucks! I hate the not knowing–and yet simultaneously, a part of me would love a good dose of denial about now!
I am about 4 years post menopausal. No children (my greatest regret), a history of polycystic ovarian syndrome, childhood abuse and weight issues. I also have hypertension but it is under control with medication, and anxiety. Waiting and worrying about cancer doesn’t pair well with an anxiety disorder lol.
I’ve had an ultrasound and then on February 6th I had day surgery–a hysteroscopy where my doctor took biopsies and scraping to determine the cause of the bleeding. I guess the doctor spoke to me after but I have zero memory of it due to the anesthesia. My follow-up appointment for results is Feb 19th. I don’t have a support system outside of my therapist I have sessions via phone with twice a month and one other para-professional type support. The not knowing is so hard!
Thanks again and I am glad you are okay!!
