The narcissist is the modern day bogeyman and we sling around the characterization with impunity–baby boomers are narcissists, kids today are narcissists—assigning blame right and left–

    A friend has asked an excellent question (partly tongue-in-cheek) regarding this post:

    “So what happens now?: with all the validation kids get today is the future going to sorely lacking in narcissism?”

    What would a world without narcissists look like? Would we miss them? Do they serve a purpose in our social ecology?
