    The last paragraph was rather a letdown. What is the point in using patronising steretypes which alienate part of your readership? I’m sure those readers who can identify with that particular gender stereotype are going to smile knowingly and feel that you are speaking to them; the rest of us, however, feel pushed away. Is that worth the small, smug smile on the face of those women who do like to talk about their feelings and those men who don’t? And how is your statement going to apply to same-sex partners?
