    Take the time it takes to dig / ask questions.Be a good example on having and developing healthy relationships.Be aware of those who are in you children’s lives and who impacts their day.

    Ah,those are really good ones, too–and they remind us that we can’t expect our kids to make the right choices unless we as parents invest our time and energy doing the right things (most of the time!) and asking the right questions.

    Hi Lara & Sophia,

    I thought I’d share this song – it’s a fun take on a developmental psychologist who is a mom, from the kid’s point of view. The science in it is based on research by Jennifer Byrd-Craven at Oklahoma State showing a correlation between co-rumination and stress.
