This is a great post! How can social anxiety be effectively addressed? How can a person keep from thinking that others are judging them? (And what if others ARE judging them?)

Thanks for the positive feedback and questions, Felicia. Healing involves identifying toxic-judging thoughts and replacing them, building awareness and acceptance and understanding of self. Often the help of a professional is necessary. As for “what if others ARE judging” – here’s a healthy belief one must adopt to protect their happiness: NEVER take anything personally (when a person judges another, it says more about them than the person they are judging). Thanks again for stopping by to comment. : )

Hi Athena: What a great post. So important for all of us to figure out when we need to listen to our subconscious mind and when we need to take an active role in consciously being mindful of our thoughts and behaviors, i.e., how to harness both our subconscious and conscious mind toward the direction of growth and change. I like Anthony D’Amasio’s work but it is so labor-intensive to read; I think you do a great job of explaining these important concepts.
    All the best!
