I wonder sometimes if they don’t temporarily return to old supplies because they tried to hook onto someone new and that person shut them down, so they were left without a source of life energy to live off of and figured they’d just go back and see if they couldn’t hit up an old supply source for a bit.

Narcs get a little antsy sometimes when they try to find a new source of energy and can’t for a bit.

I understand this – I wonder, too, having been hovered by an x who hovered another one of his x’s right before he hovered me and went straight on to Hoover another x after belittling me, reducing my talents, disrespecting me, in-loving me, lying to me, deceiving me (ALL that’s in this article ) he overlapped or overlaps : he’s with one x while he grooms the next x so he can literally jump from one to the next with no pause. I think he may know the pattern so well now that he knows he’ll need another x sooner than later as we will hate him soon enough so he lines us up ready to move at an opportune time – it is sick and sickening. I had to spend 9 month in solitude in the countryside and just meditate and walk along the ocean to recover …

I allowed my covert narcissist husband/ex-husband to hoover me over and over again. After reading articles such as yours, I realized that no matter how very much I loved him he had never loved me and never would. It was all an illusion. He could not love me and never had any compassion for me when he would blame me for anything and just leave me again. Now that I know who he is, I will never allow him back into my life again! Thank you so much for such important information!
