Do you have any advice for difficulties with reacting to frequent low mood in a partner? This is a long term problem which i have tried to raise without success. I have been through the motions of reacting with anger which further exacerbated the issue, then trying to be supportive and now i find myself dissocciating. My other half will often only talk weeks later, by which point i am considering whether there is any option of a happy future together. At this time they will almost always say that my dissociative reaction was the problem and unable to see that it is a reaction to an existing problem…which remains unresolved until it reoccurs a couple of weeks later and lasts for a fortnight or so. Please help
