    If your boundaries were shredded by your parents, you don’t defend yourself against abuse as you think it is futile and also that you don’t have the right to do this. This makes you an easy victim.

      I agreed with you. If you were not allowed to defend yourself against bullying and narcissism in your family, then your ability to defend yourself at work, at school and when you get married is impossible.

        I agree this article highlights the increased complexity. With time and counselling lots of things become possible though. I certainly think this article deserves more attention.
