The Most POPULAR and the Most UNPOPULAR Cartoons of 2015!

My last cartoon was about what men never fantasize about: condoms.

Sure, my last cartoon and column did pretty well: it was about sex, and specifically, men’s pleasure. Hard to go wrong there.

But what about other topics?  Cartoonists have feelings, too, just like men do. I notice if people laugh at me or not.

Yesterday, Scientific American gleefully listed 9 things you could do to stop worrying what other people think of you.  Maybe only 20 people hate you, not 25. Maybe.

So I immediately decided it’s time to put together our list of the most Popular and the most Unpopular cartoons of 2015.

My Most Popular Cartoon in Psych Central in 2015

woman at bathroom door

Is this the Year of the Woman? I don’t know, but I’m nominating her as Woman of the Year. This was far and beyond the most shared and clicked cartoon. I’ve always liked it, but wouldn’t have predicted that…

This has a great title. It’s what every man should know about every woman.

And now, sadly:

My Most Unpopular Cartoon in Psych Central in 2015

man feeds cat

I rarely post cartoons about one of my biggest passions, Species Equality, so this was a disappointment. I mean, it has a cat and a half-dressed man, so really?

True, the cartoon had little connection with the Cecil the Lion killing, but I tried. And maybe no one knows how circus performers dress.

In any case, this cartoon didn’t make the rounds much.

If you really want to go deep, here are my most Popular and Unpopular cartoons from 2014. One is about an old show tune, and one is about fear.

These results are according to Google Analytics. My own choices would be different. What about yours? Any cartoons you remember from 2015?
