My Most Unpopular Cartoon in 2014

Last week’s cartoon was about trading off food for exercise, hoping that life is fair that way. (It isn’t.)

And  you can Like me  on Facebook to get notified of new cartoons as I post them.  I just want to give warm thanks to everyone who invited me into their Facebook lives. Thank you!

And how kind of you to share this link! Please don’t upload the cartoon to Pinterest, however. Thanks!

Today is a little different: I thought I’d share the cartoon that was least popular in Psych Central this year! Why point this out? Mostly, to give it a little lovin’ — I think it’s a good cartoon. Like the woman in the cartoon, I wish I took more chances, and hope to, this New Year. But I also want to get better!

345pttcI’m going by Google Analytics for the numbers, which says this one had less clicks than any other cartoon this year, from January to November. (December is still new to getting views, so I’m not counting this month.)

There could be several reasons: I changed the title, but I have done that several times before- maybe I chose a poor one this time: Cartoon for Scaredy Cats. Also, it was in mid-summer -not that busy on websites, when schools are out, and people are on vacation.

Or maybe it just wasn’t good enough: the joke about opportunity knocks wasn’t clear, or the drawing didn’t stand out. Or the border on the cartoon, which makes it look charred. 🙂 Any ideas, readers?

And to leave this week on a high note, in a couple of days I’ll post the most popular cartoon of 2014, about couples therapy. I wonder if you guys will remember it!
