    Hi. This is a very dangerous study and conclusion because it’s used as a fear tactic and is incomplete. Was there a genetic profile that showed that the Genotype wasn’t transferred to the child? There are Genes like AKT1 and COMT that have a direct impact on Psychosis that may be triggered by a cannabinoid like THC. This is incomplete and should not be hyped as science. It’s only opinion.

    I agree with Len May’s comment. Cannabis may affect certain genes… But, this is a fear tactic. There are more people in this world than you’d believe who have mother’s who used cannabis during pregnancy. This is not conclusive. The hyper critical stereotyping of cannabis consumption needs to end. The fear tactics need to stop. Cannabinoids occur naturally in breast milk and in our brains and there are more toxic chemicals/ medications used daily that certainly have an impact mental health (e.g. stimulants prescribed to children that are known to cause psychosis)…
