    Post-structuralism is taking it hard at the moment, and I wonder how someone such as Fink can be so wholeheartedly behind Lacan, while Lacan’s opponents (who mainly rail against the relativism of post-modernism) deride him as an utter obscurantist. Like Freud, there are probably arguments made by Lacan that just don’t hold, while other parts of his theories are undeniably accurate but do some people just have a bug up their ass and won’t ever will themselves to try to understand Lacan?
