    Hi Misha,
I haven’t been here in a while but I have thought of you and hoped you were well and still writing here as I have missed reading your articles. I hope you have enjoyed your summer!
I have had some struggles over the past several months — or, more accurately, a continuation of problems within my family involving my brother and my mom. To say he is not well due to alcohol addiction and mental illness is, I believe, a gross understatement. And it has impacted the family greatly. For the first time in years, I have been depressed and having anxiety enough so that I have been urged to allow a case manager to work with me because I’ve been isolating a lot and feeling overwhelmed at times. But I know others have it much worse so I try to keep moving forward.
To be honest, I wasn’t able to focus enough to really understand your poem but you clearly have talent from what I did read. I especially found the picture haunting and intense!
    Take care.
