Mental Health continues to be a compelling sound bite, dominating headlines from pop singers, government figures and Hollywood A-listers.  While someone does not need to be a prominent public figure to have an opinion about mental health, prioritizing mental health at home and work has positive repercussions for individuals, students, employees, parents and families.

Teaching strategies for mental health has a multitude of benefits.  Businesses are more efficient, spend less money (to the tune of an estimated $17 billion dollars!), have happier employees and retain their team members for longer periods of time.  Schools see more connected students, less behavioral incidents and better grades.  Individuals and families report more confidence, have higher levels of self worth and an overall satisfaction with life.  So how can anyone bring better mental health to their own lives as well as to the lives of those around them?  Here’s a quick infographic to help virtually anyone become a mental health all star.
