    I find gardening is helpful also. Also walking meditation can be helpful!

    Thank you for this. I too have a very broad definition of meditation. Sometimes I sit, sometimes I knit.

    Gardening is so helpful for me. It helps my nerves keep calm, relax and be busy enjoying nature. Most of the time i start my plants by seed indoors in january. My tomato plants usually get 6 ft. high. I also do other veg.,flowers and herbs. I feed the birds in the backyard and they pick the bugs out of my garden and flower pots. There is such a variety of birds to watch and listen to.
