I completely agree with you that we need to just accept anxiety and face it without any hesitation. I suffer from anxiety, so I know that many people who do not suffer from anxiety do not understand what a full-blown anxiety attack is like, and they take what they see or hear in the media as facts. I think that people need to understand what anxiety really is, how it works, and should be able to openly discuss it and ask questions about what the disorder is like. I wrote a similar article on my website about accepting anxiety and making it more of a comfortable conversation piece rather than a taboo topic http://sarahlouiseoneill.weebly.com/blog

Thank you for your insight Sarah and I will definitely check out your website. More education and more awareness about anxiety would certainly go a long way, in my opinion! Hope to hear from you again.
