    I find the placebo effect very interesting when it relates to OCD. OCD beings and ends in the mind. If one believes the medicine they are taking to overcome their OCD is helping, whether it is or not, it will help in the process. It is mind over matter.

      Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Morgan, and I believe the placebo effect is very real. I don’t believe that someone can just decide to not pay attention to their OCD as it is a real disorder that typically requires treatment. Exposure and response prevention therapy is the front line psychological treatment for OCD. Thanks again for commenting!
