I was consistently bullied and ostracised throughout school life. I’d say my nadir was when I planned my suicide at 10 but that state of being pretty much continued through to year 11 (I don’t know what that is in American grades. Presumably grade 11). Oh, there were times when it looked like it was getting better, but then I’d be abruptly abandoned by all my friends, for no discernible reason, which brings me even lower. How I am I meant to magically get over that and be a normal adult? How am I meant to just logically say to myself “oh fearing you’ll be abandoned is illogical” and get over it logically and logically rid myself of all those negative emotions when my past experience tells me that expecting to be abandoned is a more logical expectation that the reverse?
