Something Better Than Miracles

content with life

I’m not expecting anything extraordinary today.

After reading a slew of miracle-related memes on Facebook, I replied with my own meme.

There’s something I prefer over expecting miraculous changes to come to pass in my life. I don’t need the universe to deliver anything beyond the ordinary. And if you choose to call the ordinary a miracle, I’m good with that.

Embracing the ordinary, today I look forward to working hard at my business. I want to get some stuff done around the house…and maybe clean up the garage a bit.

I want to enjoy my family and, if we get into arguments, to bring them to resolution quickly. I’d like to hug my wife and help out with the dishes, too:)

Maybe catch the news in the evening. And dang it, I am going to get in some exercise!

Ordinary life. This is what I expect today. It’s all I need to be happy.
