Can You Re-Do Your Life?
A Brief Review of Reology
You do have that chance, according to Jake and Hannah Eagle, co-developers or Reology, the art and science of “re-righting” your life. The Eagles maintain that we can redo ourselves at any time. And they back it up with a comprehensive set of tools.
Jake says, “Reology is the art and science of re-doing your life. It shifts you away from blame and toward personal responsibility, to produce vastly different results in your life. Reology provides a set of tools that allows you to re-view and re-interpret your present and your past experiences through a new prism. When that occurs, you will see things differently and be able to respond in healthy and appropriate ways.”
The primary Reology tool is known as Respeak. Respeak is a new way to use language that eliminates self-victimization. Jake often reminds his students that with Respeak, you put yourself in the empowering position of consciously recognizing with every word that you create your own experience. Respeak eliminates the possibility of setting yourself up as a victim.
“ReSpeak is a way to use language that brings you into the present moment, makes you the active agent in your life, minimizes social anxiety, and allows you to live a fearless and spontaneous life,” says Jake.
It seems that the Eagles have discovered how to bring to life the timeless principles we all believe in – live in present, take responsibility and be proactive – and have made these principles as accessible as the words you speak.
