I love your article. I read a book by Rene Noorbergen many years ago. It talked about ooparts and how scientists couldn’t understand how these particular artifacts even existed for their time period. It fascinated me. It helped open my eyes that maybe we aren’t as advanced as we are made to believe. Absolutely love your blog by the way.

I think modern society is increasingly narcissistic. The millennials are notorious for not tipping wait staff at restaurants because (1) they say they cannot afford to tip but, ironically, can afford to eat in restaurants, and (2) they say wait staff should get better paying jobs if the baseline salary is inadequate to support them. They are self-absorbed in their smart phones and Facebook postings, exhibit little empathy for the older generation or the disadvantaged, and think they are entitled to live as well as older people who obtained educations, worked hard at jobs, saved our money to make purchases rather than borrowing money and for our retirement. We’re going to have some seriously disappointed younger relatives when we die as my husband and I have decided to spend every penny we have earned and saved on ourselves when we retire. It is not their birth right to benefit from our savings. It is their responsibility to take care of themselves, just like we have always done.
