2 thoughts on “A Narcissist: In His Own Words

This hit so many notes with me……
That my NM blames me for the two of us never bonding when I was a baby. (I was a Premie and was immediately sent to another city for the first almost didn’t survive 3 months of my life and spent most of the first 2.5 years in hospitals.)
She blames me for my brother not getting enough attention cause I was sick so much. I seriously doubt that either she or my NF spent much time visiting me in hospitals cause of pictures they took with my brother on vacations.
I was never led to believe that life would exist for me after high school graduation so I had planned from a young age to commit suicide that night. The only reason I didn’t was because I dropped out and married a Narc before I graduated high school which started a whole other nightmare in my life.
Narcs should be rounded up and put on an island far, far, far, far away from the rest of us so they can’t destroy anyone.

The words that flow from narcissists’ mouths are amazing. When my narc father died last year, my golden child little brother, narcissistic little sister, and I had to start the process of handling his estate as co-trustees. The first thing sister did was to claim that various assets had to be transferred to a certain relative despite the lack of any legally binding document that so directed, because “Daddy” told her what he wanted done with his property. I called her out, produced the proof that she was lying, and golden child little brother agreed with me. Little sister’s response to being shown a liar was to email us that her lies caused “no harm, no foul so it doesn’t matter.” Of course her lies and gas lighting are harmful and foul. Only a narcissist would think otherwise.

With our father dead, sister has no one to triangulate with or to gas light me with anymore. I’m sure she is making up for that deficit by harassing her husband and three children. Thank God they live a thousand miles from me.

Thank you for bringing help and hope to victims of NPD monsters.
