I often think about the concept that is being addressed in the above parenting quote. I have become impatient and snappy with my kids more often than I wish I would have, but I think I am getting better at being patient, at being in the moment, and at seeing the beauty in the little things that are involved in parenting. When thinking about this quote, I think about how it is so important to not only think that we are shaping our kids’ memories from day to day, but also from moment to moment.
Every moment we have another chance to deposit another memory into our children’s memory banks. We can make this moment a positive, negative, or neutral memory for our kids.
What memories are you depositing in your kids’ memory banks?
