    We humans NEED play- read John Hzunga’s “Homo Ludens”-he’s a philosopher, but gets it. Just watch the instant connections people make playing! it removes us from our adult “scripts” that we lives by and frees our real selves-not regression, but suspends ingrained roles, conditioning,others joining in reassures that they, too, are suspending their rigidly conditioned world-view and are open to
    new experience-sports are the closest socially “acceptable” play civilization has- here, anybody can and should play…..

    Thank you. Your piece is a reminder to me that I need to fly my kite more often! Play with the wind, spend long minutes untangling kite-lines. And then the magic of playing with one of the mysterious elements, the invisible breath of the wind…

    What a delight to read, and wow…that video is amazing!! It wasn’t even a minute and I was crying at the interaction between the people. ( I don’t understand why the depression does this to me) It was an absolute joy to see and encourages me to stop hiding in my bedroom, away from society so no one can see me, and interact with people. Thank you, so very much, for the inspiration that I got from this piece!

    Staying busy and playing some sports will help a lot. It will keep you active and fresh minded.
