About Lara Fielding

Lara FieldingLara Fielding is a Harvard educated Clinical Psychologist, who teaches, supervises, and specializes in the evidence supported Mindfulness-based treatments. Her private practice is in Los Angeles, where she is also an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University, Graduate School of Education and Psychology, and a Supervisor Psychologist at the UCLA Department of Psychology Clinic.

She teaches clients mindfulness practices and self-care skills to promote stress resilience and emotion regulation. Her therapy practice, writing and trainings emphasize the role of personal responsibility for self-care and concrete skills to maintain more balanced mood.

Dr. Fielding works with adults of all ages, who are coping with stressful life experiences and or difficulties related to emotion dysregulation. However she specializes in guiding Millennials (ages 20-34) through the unique challenges faced by this generation. Dr. Fielding helps clients tackle the specific environmental stressors faced by Millennials, which challenge the equilibrium of the mind-body system. Dr. Fielding also uses technology (apps, web forms, video conference, etc.) to improve client engagement, collaboration and compliance.
