8In the woods: my German shepherd runs a recon 20 or so paces ahead of me, her tail wagging as she snakes from left to right. A hard crunch of frosted ground under my feet.

Will this am-ness ever end? Has this am-ness ever begun? Silly bookend questions that bracket one and the same thing-less thing. Fields of nonduality ahead and behind us.

Sun has had about another hour to fool around and the ground crunch under my feet on the way back home is much softer. And so are the boundaries of my mind’s dualities.

All is one.  One is all.

Being (e.g. in nature) has a way of softening dualities. Doing (whatever) has a way of hardening dualities. Put differently, Being unites; Doing divides.
