    Hey there Shannon,
We share some of the same DNA as FRUIT FLIES? REALLY? Wow, I never knew that — and I hate to say it, but it really doesn’t make us humans sound too intelligent or anything else for that matter, LOL!
As far as Creation vs. Evolution, Creation wins out for me. I grew up going to church and most of the time, I found it comforting to think about having a Savior who loves unconditionally and already has life all figured out because He created it. An all knowing God was fascinating to me–except when as a kid, I’d do something wrong and think “I hope God was busy watching someone else right then!”
I admit to occasionally wondering about the evolution theory but I’m content enough with my faith that I feel no need to go down that road. I tell myself, if I am wrong I have lost nothing. If someone who doesn’t believe is wrong, they miss out on eternal life with Christ and their loved ones who are believers. THAT part makes me sad!
Like you said in your article, I’m just sharing my opinion and beliefs.

Haha-I know! My main interactions with fruit flies to date have been when they try to fly up my nose-so nice! Your beliefs as you express them are very beautiful-any path that brings with it comfort and curiosity is worth holding onto in my book!
