    Thanks Shannon, I needed to read that. I currently am dealing with end-stage COPD which is very difficult. Now instead of saying I’m “fighting” the disease, I can say I am disciplining myself to live with it. Fighting sounds very aggressive and tiring and makes me want to give up. Disciplining myself is more in line with what I need to do daily to try to maintain some continuity in my life. Great entry.
