A New Definition of Intimacy

I like to make up my own definitions to words.

Sometimes I do this because the definitions in the dictionary don’t seem to fit. Sometimes I do this because I don’t understand what the dictionary is talking about.

Sometimes relationships don’t work. I was married Twice before my husband now. I was immature the 1st marriage. The 2nd marriage my husband was an alcoholic. I’ve been married to my 3rd husband 39 yrs. You will heal in time. You never know what’s in the future. It will get better I promise!

Great article Shannon! Thank you. You defined the issue so well. My husband is a sex and intimacy addict/anorexic and willingness is a perfect way of defining intimacy.

You are so welcome! And thank you for taking time to share that I’m not the only one who resonates with this perspective of intimacy. 🙂
