I’ve never practiced yoga long enough to even have a right to use the word “practiced”. As for doing vs being, I’m imagining if I were engaged in movements that had become second nature, maybe that’s when I could enter the state of “being”. I’m just really impressed you’ve kept up your practice with Adriene for so long.

I do morning stretches and the older I get, the more important they are for how well my body feels as I start the day. In fact, I guess you could say they’re yoga-ISH. I’ve been doing them for years, and by now it’s a pleasantly thought-free (not effort free!) routine. I think tomorrow while I’m doing them I’m going to think about this business of “being” vs “doing”!

“Yoga-ish” – I love it! 🙂 and I love Adriene – truly – she teaches so much more than “just” yoga poses.
