    You know, I have no real helpful advice here. I got nothing, actually. I will say, though, I get what you’re saying. My cat, Richard Parker, helps me in the same way, but if I couldn’t leave him, and happily, with my mom or husband, I’d be in a major jam. I’d be unable to leave him. Or it’d be really difficult to figure out. Good luck.

      Jen, I befriended a neighbor to “check on him” which i am thankful for but.. it’s not the real thing. i gotta get over it seriously. honestly part of me wonders how it would be without him. would i travel more…yeah probably. but left alone at home, not good. it’s a stupid predicament but i think those that isolate and have a dog or cat to be beside their side results in this situation… thanks for your comment, e
